Catch as Catch Can 97

It’s Thursday!  Do you know why this party is called Catch as Catch Can? Years ago when I was small, Catch as Catch Can was the phrase used around our place when you were on your own for food.  If mom was too tired to cook after working a long day, and we asked “what are we eating” she would use that phrase to signify that we were able to eat whatever we could find.  I liked the words, because it gave me free reign to eat what I wanted.   I raised Jamie the same way, I’m not sure if she was as fond of it as I was.  When I first started this party some 97 and some odd weeks ago, Jamie was the one that helped me with the name.  Way to go kiddo!  It stuck!

Here are the projects that “caught” my eye last week….
