Who is going to be there? ME! I will be at my local store in Louisville KY (1955 S Hurstbourne) to meet, mingle and craft with local fans. You can see the list of Hometalk bloggers and where they’ll be over on the Michael’s page, so you can find out which store you want to visit on Sunday.
You’re invited to Michael’s and Hometalk Pinterest Party twitter chat tonight! RSVP here.
Check out the Pinterest inspired displays at your local Michaels store, buy your supplies, and meet us in the classroom to create your own pin-worthy project. Be sure to grab this Michael’s coupon so you can get the best deal on your supplies before you head to the craft room. (for our Canadian friends) The friendly and helpful employees will help you with decisions and picking out the right supplies.
Are you uncertain about what Hometalk is all about? I’ve talked about it a lot because I’ve been a member for a long, long time. It’s sort of like Facebook, in the way that you can like, share and comment. But it’s so much more, you can clip and pin your favorites that inspire you. It’s people just like you and me. Those who are creative and curious, and willing to ask and answer questions about anything home and garden. Hometalk is not just for bloggers, it’s for anyone. I hope you hop over and check it out.
Be sure to join Hometalk, and follow Michael’s on Hometalk so you’re eligible to win a $100 gift card! While you’re there, make sure you follow My Repurposed Life on Hometalk too! Five winners will be announced on Hometalk’s Facebook page on February 17, after the Pinterest Event.
Are you ready to see what I did for my project?
I made this adorable bottoms up bunny digging in a flower pot. I chose something that is simple, fun, and cute for the families that may be attending the Michaels/Hometalk Pinterest event. Stop by tomorrow for a full tutorial.
I really hope that you can make it to a Michaels store near you on Sunday. You never know who you might run into! These cute Chalkboard Cards will be handed out to the first 24 participants in each store.
I have been compensated for my time and supplies. However, you know that all opinions, thoughts, and ideas are my own. I was not told what to say or make.
