Do you need some green laundry tips? Do have have some to share with the rest of us? As part of the True Value DIY Blog Squad I get to write a feature for the StartRight StartHere site about green laundry tips.
Some of the tips I found through research, many of them are from the life I live. I think green living falls into three categories:
- Those of us who go green because it’s the right thing to do
- Those of us who go green because of a tight budget
- Those of us who go green because it’s how we were brought up
I don’t know about you, but for me, it’s all of the above.
Do you recognize this contraption? We grew up calling it a “clothes horse”. What did you call it? Did you have one? Do you still have one? I have two.
When you hop over to read my Green Laundry Tips on the True Value site, there’s a little tidbit I didn’t share there. If you follow me on Facebook, you probably know I recently bought a new washer and dryer after my dryer finally bit the dust. After a little trial and error and a huge learning curve, they are finally growing on me. I do believe the newer, more efficient models are better for our environment and are going to save me money.
Please share your tips below, so we can all do a better job saving money and saving our earth.
I was one of the bloggers selected by True Value to work on the DIY Squad. I have been compensated for my time commitment to the program as well as writing about my experience. I have also been compensated for the materials needed for my DIY project. However, my opinions are entirely my own and I have not been paid to publish positive comments.
