Haven 2014 Recap

Oh my gosh!   Haven 2014 was so much fun.  It’s so great to see old friends and meet new bloggers.  Visiting the vendors/sponsors is so rewarding too.

On Wednesday, I headed to Nashville for a quick stopover to visit with Jamie and Andy.  Jamie and I went to have a manicure and pedicure.  It was great hanging out with her.

Thursday morning I headed to Atlanta over the mountains and through the woods.  heheheh

crown plaza 2When I checked into the hotel, the desk clerk said she was going to upgrade me to a King something yada yada yada, but I didn’t understand what she said.  When I walked into my room, I felt so appreciative to have been upgraded.

I submitted my fireplace.   At the end of the conference, I snagged the photo off the display board.  Smile  Home Depot made small flip books of all the projects.

Mike-Holmes-My-Repurposed-LifeI got to meet Mike Holmes.  He’s such a nice guy.

ryobi-kreg 2The first class/session I went to was with Ryobi and Kreg.  (two of my absolute favorite brands) It was a hands-on class.  That’s one of my favorite things about Haven Conference—lots of variety in the sessions, a good balance between DIY and Blog sessions.  So much to learn!

silly-sponsor-tweetsThere are lots of fun ways to try to win stuff, these are the ones I did.

These are some pics I took of slides in a G+ session.   I forget to update G+ on a regular basis.

I came home to a busy couple of days.  I received 10 Etsy orders over the span of 4 days.  A few were small, but most were very large.  We’re having a cool spell with some really nice temps, I am enjoying it and taking advantage of it to get some projects done.
