Oh my gosh! Haven 2014 was so much fun. It’s so great to see old friends and meet new bloggers. Visiting the vendors/sponsors is so rewarding too.
On Wednesday, I headed to Nashville for a quick stopover to visit with Jamie and Andy. Jamie and I went to have a manicure and pedicure. It was great hanging out with her.
Thursday morning I headed to Atlanta over the mountains and through the woods. heheheh
When I checked into the hotel, the desk clerk said she was going to upgrade me to a King something yada yada yada, but I didn’t understand what she said. When I walked into my room, I felt so appreciative to have been upgraded.
The room was huge, and I even had a foyer.
Look at all the look I got from swag and sponsors.
This is the lower level where lunch was served.
Before the conference you could share a project to be included in the DIY Hall of Fame.
I submitted my fireplace. At the end of the conference, I snagged the photo off the display board. Home Depot made small flip books of all the projects.
My friend Catherine from Freddy & Petunia with the lounge singer. He approached her while he was singing and posed for this picture. Isn’t she adorable?!
I got to meet Mike Holmes. He’s such a nice guy.
The first class/session I went to was with Ryobi and Kreg. (two of my absolute favorite brands) It was a hands-on class. That’s one of my favorite things about Haven Conference—lots of variety in the sessions, a good balance between DIY and Blog sessions. So much to learn!
There are lots of fun ways to try to win stuff, these are the ones I did.
These are some pics I took of slides in a G+ session. I forget to update G+ on a regular basis.

The last session I took was making signs for Veterans with The Home Depot
Ryobi Nation sure knows how to throw a party!
Some of the yummy goodies Ryobi supplied for the party.
I came home to a busy couple of days. I received 10 Etsy orders over the span of 4 days. A few were small, but most were very large. We’re having a cool spell with some really nice temps, I am enjoying it and taking advantage of it to get some projects done.
