I typed the words I wanted “jamie loves andy”. To fill the spaces I added some hearts. The hearts are actually a font-webdings. I love using those fonts for simple images. You can see that I had to “mirror horizontally” so that when I did the iron on the letters would be right.
I pulled away all the negative pieces.
See? The letters are backward.
I picked out the oodles and boodles with a pair of tweezers.
I cut the letters apart so that I could iron them on my drop cloth bunting (triangles). I used Dritz Fray Check around the edges so that the material would not fray.
I placed a kitchen towel over the iron on and followed the directions on the package.
Here is the bunting. But there seems to be an operator error. (Not silhouette’s fault) I used white transfer on drop cloth. My letters are not showing up well enough.
I used a Sharpie to trace around all the letters. I started with the hearts just in case it didn’t work right.
I strung the bunting together with twine.
I wanted it to be interchangeable. It can read Jamie Loves Andy or Andy Loves Jamie. Want to see it at the shower? Guess what! You can’t! I didn’t get to use it because there was no place to hang it. It ended up being too long and the clubhouse (as is generally the case) won’t let you do much to decorate. So you get to see it displayed on my privacy fence instead.
