Furniture Sustainability Certification Launched

Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association (BIFMA) International, the trade association for the commercial furniture industry, has launched its “level” product certification program. The sustainability standard takes into account material use, energy and atmosphere impacts, human and ecosystem health and social responsibility. green is no longer a sacrifice of values for style – gorgeous 100% recycled tile

I used this recycled tile in my bathroom, and its still one of my favorite green things! It’s been true for awhile….but green products no longer mean sacrificing style for our values….note to renewable energy crowd…..can you make solar panels and wind turbines in interesting shapes?
