I really like the base of it.
I washed all the parts, and dismantled it.
I wanted to gut it and make it into a candelabra, but the cups were too small to hold candles. I searched high and low to find something that would work. I found these tea light holders at my favorite Peddler’s Mall.
To attach them to the lamp, I had to drill a hole. I placed them in a vise, with an old pair of bluejeans protecting them from getting scarred.
I then sprayed them with primer. I also sprayed the lamp with primer, although I guess I was so busy painting, that I forgot to take pics.
Great idea, I just came across an old floor lamp and before I decided to remake it. I want ed to see if it work. I was a very happy camper when it did. It has a total of five light sockets. I cannot wait to get started on it.
woohoo! happy it works, but if it is original wiring, I hope you consider rewiring it. Those old wires can be very dangerous.
