I want to thank all of you for the wonderful birthday wishes. You’re so sweet! Your kind  words really warm my heart.
It was a fabulous birthday. We had a great lunch and then did some thrifting. Did I take pics? no! Only this picture as we were getting ready to leave.
Jamie and Andy gave me a couple of great gifts—she knows me so well. One is a blog consultation and the other is a perpetual calendar that jamie made.

Isn’t this so cool? I get to write down thoughts and happenings, then move this card to the back, and do the same each and every day. Then when next year comes around, I get to reminisce about the previous year. I’m so bad about diary type entries, but I really look forward to this. Why? because I’m such a sentimental sap. I think it will be so neat to see the years go by.

Jamie bought the recipe box and stained it. Then she filled out all the index cards.  She’s so sweet! I pulled the card out that is for jamie’s birthday so you can see she has handwritten the date on each card. I’m so excited about both of my wonderful gifts! Thanks so much jamie and andy! y’all are the best!
    happy birthday

We went to Longhorn to eat, and I got this ice cream surprise!

So, now I gotta go write the day’s happenings on my calendar card! Smile
