Barb,

When the legs are on the inside, the bench may tend to be &quot;tipsy&quot; if it&#039;s not deep enough. (from front to back).  If you make the seat deep, you can definitely make it easier on yourself and box the legs in on the inside. I did that in the beginning. Putting them on the outside corners gives them a more finished look-in my opinion.  ;)
