Cheap & Easy! That's what I love! :) Today's project is both of those. A plain door mat from Home Depot for less than $5 is easily customized with spray paint-even in the dead of winter. I love this color, and it really dresses up this plain rug.

Kids out of school? You still have time to do this activity with the kiddos! How to make a peppermint patty platter! It's so easy and inexpensive to make. You could make a large one, or several smaller ones, or both!!! I love how this turned out and would love to make more very soon. I may even mix colors of peppermints!
