Clever great idea!! Now I must convince our thrift store NOT to throw out broken lamp bases. Save for the repurposers. I kept thinking birdbath and then the surprise in the end was a planter. Can or did you already make a bird bath??

Gail, you continue to amaze me with the beautiful things you create out of ordinary things- or better yet- scraps left over from something. I just LOVE your blog and you are one of the 4 out of 26 that survived my cut a few months ago-….
