I attached wooden “feet” to the side of it on both ends and the middle. i think I used several chunks of discarded mantel scrollwork for the feet. I sanded down the whole thing and painted it blue and strung wire across the window openings for all of my jewelry cards to hang from. It worked perfectly for everything besides feather jewelry. Stuff that was too light wanted to blow away. 🙂
