I’ve seen people do that, using chair as is. I just liked the way it looked using just the backs of the chairs. That’s the fun of DIY, YOU get to choose to do whatever you feel comfortable with–or whatever you like the look of!

For the 2 chair bench, why do you not keep the chair as is and put boards on top of seats and across to the other chair? Would this work or not? Thank you.

I LOOOOOOVE this bench!! I really, really do. I would buy it from your booth, today, if I lived anywhere remotely close to you! I like that the back is the same height as the sides. It has beautiful lines and symmetry and is just so visually pleasing to look at. I hope I’m making sense 🙂
