This is so pretty! and I love the combination of the blue plate with the silver is fabulous! I have to do small projects while I'm doing big ones so I feel like I'm finishing something. The big projects are so worth doing, but it takes longer to get that sense of satisfaction. Love this project!

I like simple little projects in the midst of big ones...for the same reason. It gives a boost to your ego when you're working on something big and time consuming...pushing you to finish!
Now as to what I'd do with it? Hmmm...the color scheme would work in my 'blue' bathroom I think some pretty soaps would look nice!

hope you're having a great week...Patricia!

PS: oh, btw...I just passed a house the other day that had a tree stump in their yard painted RED, WHITE AND BLUE!
...you should go for it! (since we're not in the same neighborhood) :P

I truly enjoy making these for my online shops, and at home. Cake stands, cupcake stand, dessert pedestal stand, wedding decor, bridal showers, candle holder, soap dish, jewelry dish, center piece, catch all in the entry, and as you mentioned just sooo many uses for them. I haven't painted any bases yet, but once in a while I will add ribbon, a bow, mini bows, sequins, and etc. I have not had a complaint about the ones I have sold thus far. Just...could I make another one like what was bought. Making these pieces are kind of unique, or one of a kind. Cannot always find the same items when thrifting to make another one like it.:)
