This is a sponsored post—as a HomeRight brand ambassador I get to tell you about great products each month. I also get to offer a giveaway for TWO lucky winners this month! Be sure to scroll to the bottom of the post for the giveaway.
Over the summer I had a lot of bushes/shrubbery removed. It was H.O.T. when that was done. Now that the weather has cooled off, it’s time to take care of some fall cleaning. My house is bedford stone but I have this small section that is aluminum siding. You can see that the siding got very stained over the years that I wasn’t able to get to it due to the bushes being in the way.
Fall Cleaning Tips
As with any cleaning job, it’s best to hose down the area to remove debris before you begin. After washing away all the loose dirt, I sprayed some all purpose cleaner on the stain and let it soak for a short time. Then I loaded my AutoRight Easy Wash Stick with some more cleaner diluted with water—it draws up from your bucket right into the handle of the stick!!! I then proceeded to wash the siding. Now, I want to tell you that this is not a stiff scrub brush. It is a soft bristled brush where the bristles work with you, not against you.
The handle extends to make reaching up high easy for me to clean all the siding and the shutters. TIP raising your screens slightly while you’re washing windows makes it easy to wash the sills from the outside. Note the before and after in the bottom left image. A few months ago I showed you how easy it is to use the AutoRight Auto Wash Stick to wash your car . Look how it doubles as a window washer! The pad is soft and the handle loads your soapy solution the same way as the Easy Wash Stick.

Wow this gadget is nice! I love how it can be used on vehicles and to clean houses. I could really use one of these. My house & my windows are filthy…..my shutters are hideous! lol. And, I can no longer afford to use the local car war so something like this would make washing my car…..so much easier! Thanks for sharing this product with us!
I would wash the second story windows on the house and the garage.
We just moved into a grande old early 1900’s house with TONS of windows – and a dirty window is one of my biggest pet peeves. I don’t want to spend all winter staring out of filthy windows soooo, the first thing would be all these windows!

This looks so easy to use.

One thing about using the car brushes and things on other things other than your car is great. BUT never use that same thing on your car again. Use a separate one for ONLY your car. The brushes will never come clean to us on your car and the dirt and anything else that gets in beaded into the brush use on any thing other than your car will end up scratching your car. Now if you have an older car and don’t really care that a whole nother thing. But for new care use the brushes just for your car. My Hubby will never use the washing-brushes at the car washes because he says he don’t know WHAT someone else used those brushes on. When you drive by car washes you can see people wash everything there. Just an FYI.
To clean my windows and vinyl siding.
Id wash my windows! And my car too of course!
I would love this for car and home! I have a taller crossover that I can’t reach the top, so this would work perfect for it. It also looks like it would make easy work of the lower windows to wash on the house too!
It would be nice to wash the car without getting soaking wet. I would also like to try this on the windows too.
I love this give-away! I’d wash my windows and the house siding. Love it! Thanks for the chance to win one, Gail.

DUO purpose… After reading this post I finally would have a “tool” for my husband to wash all the ugly vine residue & tree sap off our house w/ no complaining 🙂 And I could wash my car instead of going to car washes which is a chore! 🙂
Goodness this Auto Right wash stick would work for washing just about anything, and I know I can think of numerous ways to use it.
Car, Trailer, Decks, House but I would especially use it on the horses I know they would enjoy the soapy bath and rinse, not to mention the massage they would feel with the brush.

I struggle with getting our deck and porch cleaned each year. We live in a stucco house and this seems like it would be just the ticket to clean the uneven surface of stucco
Oh my goodness! I can think of so many uses! The house, the windows, the cars, and my son just got an older boat that defiantly needs a good scrub! We would probably be lined up to use it!! Lol!
Looks easy to use….I will probably use it for cleaning my siding and my car….
Great idea, but you would have to be sure it was spotlessly clean before using it on the car again. Better idea, get two of these; one for the car and one for the house.

We recently moved into a house that has recently had shrubs removed. I’m so glad I caught your post about this because it looks like the Easy Wash Stick would be perfect for the job! I think it would do a great job on the porch, as well. The Auto Wash Stick would be great for windows, but I imagine it would work to reach a sunroof or two that can be accessed from the second floor!
I have a brick front with siding on the rest home and there are a lot of trees. In some areas of the siding where the trees are more abundant and block out sun, it gets a little green. Maybe it is mildew or something.. but this little tool looks like it would help 🙂
