Most of you probably know I work withMy Repurposed Life Homeright.com, and have been for several years now. I first used their Command Max in January 2011! Now I use my beloved Homeright Finish Max for 90% of my paint projects. Occasionally, I get an itch to actually paint by hand with a brush. Go figure!

I wanted to share some of my favorite Homeright Projects with you. Some are not easy builds, but this isn’t about building it’s about painting.
Finish Max Projects
Let’s start easy—well, easy for a Finish Max at least. This small table makeover was needing a coat of paint. Look at those legs, not a fun project to paint by hand with a brush.
This headboard bench was the eye opener for me. A neighbor walked over after I had painted it, and he couldn’t believe that it wasn’t a manufacturer’s finish. He kept saying “you didn’t paint this”.
Some projects just BEG for the Finish Max treatment. Anyone who has ever painted a bi-fold door or a shutter knows the drill. Paint one side, switch to the other side to catch the runs and drips, then back and forth over and over again. Sure, spray paint is an option, but if you want the door or shutter to match your décor, you want to use your latex wall paint. On this particular project I actually used Annie Sloan Chalk Paint in my Homeright Finish Max paint sprayer.
This pineapple headboard bench would be a nightmare to paint by hand. I know, I’ve done it before I had a sprayer. I would flip the brush back and forth to cover the spindle, then go up and down to smooth, and back and forth again. Look at that pretty finish from the Finish Max!
You won’t believe the “before” of this chair! It really had been around the block. I painted the upholstery, and had someone cover the original seat for me. The seat was really too far gone. The first step was to use my Finish Max to lightly wet the fabric with water! It doesn’t get any easier than this.
The Homeright Finish Max isn’t just for DIY projects. I used it to paint my new porch posts.
No Homeright post would be complete without sharing the Homeright Spray Shelter with you. It’s especially great if you live in a community with strict rules about such things as painting. You can read all about it in my post Homeright Spray Paint Shelter. Yes, it’s also great when you are spray painting with aerosol cans.
My friend Kim used her Finish Max and Spray Shelter to make this awesome piece of California Artwork.
Jeanie from Create and Babble painted her repurposed desk to kitchen island using a Finish Max.
A Finish Max paint sprayer makes painting wicker a breeze, from Refresh Restyle. Have you ever tried painting wicker with a paint brush? That would not be fun—or easy.
