While Jamie and Andy were here in June, we did some thrifting. I found this steak platter for .50 cents.
The back looks SO much better than the front that has been all cut up with steak knives!
Last month when Silhouette had their vinyl on sale, I bought 4 rolls. Tan, Red, White, and Brown. The Red is such a pretty color! I wanted to do “Give Thanks”, since I was cutting it out of Red, I chose two other phrases that I think I might want at a later date. Whenever I cut vinyl, I fill up the full 9 inches.
The red doesn’t look as good in this picture as it does in real life.
I recently made some more of the God’s Top 10 signs. I have made 9 of these, and they are all gone. I will be making a couple more in the next few days.
The white on the black is my personal favorite. It reminds me of my Family Rules Subway Art.
I have made several of these for my friend Regina. Every time I make her one, someone sees it, loves it, and she gives it away. This is the tan vinyl.
This is the brown vinyl on a cream colored paint. It really is easy when you make many of one project. Sort of like an assembly line.
I also did a red on the cream. It was the first to sell. I don’t have a picture of it.
Do you have a favorite color combo?
If you haven’t entered my Kreg Jig giveaway, hop on over to that post.
Stay cool folks! It’s still to hot here to do much outside. I can generally go out for a short time, but it’s impossible to stay out very long. As I write this post on Weds night it is currently a heat index of 95 at 10:00 PM.

On the steak plate sign. It looks awesome. Did you treat the plate in anyway? It looks a bit textured.
Those top ten signs are great! I’m not surprised that they’re selling fast.
Stay cool!
Love both, God’s top 10 is great! My kids have learned the 10 commandments with little actions, it is cute and a great way to remember. I like the white on black best.
I like the white lettering with the black background. Love the top ten. I have a platter very similar to yours.
Great score on the sizzler platters! I’ve been wanting to get some — for my own personal use (I’ve been watching too many cooking shows lately!) And those Top 10 Lists are awesome! Love the look, and love the phrasing!
Woot woot.

Love that little tray…so cute! I can appreciate that you have a $5 thrifting limit…that would be a little too low for me, I am more of a $10 gal, but even then I have no discipline…if I like it, I usually have to buy it, lol!
BTW, do you think that Silhouette offer is still good, when I click on it, it says “offer expired”…maybe they are already sold out?!
I’m glad you’re having fun with the Silhouette. The possibilities for phrases and applications are endless.
It sounds like you’re getting more heat than we are right now. Stay cool.
Those are amazing looking. Love the platter, too.
