On Saturday I took these items to a shop to sell on consignment:
On Monday, Cathy told me about a new store that opened near us. We stopped in and I felt like I had walked into blogland & Etsy! The booths are small, most of them have been painted very bright and colorful. I found out that the store opened on Saturday.
Cathy and I looked around and then I inquired about renting a space. One thing lead to another, and POOF! Just like that I was renting a space too!
I came home and immediately loaded up some items and took them to the store. For now, the price tags are leftover from last year when I went to Glendale Crossing Days. After I got home from dropping off these things I cut out some price tags with my Silhouette. I’ll be going back tomorrow to add a few more “smalls” and switch out the price tags.
Because I don’t have peg board hooks, I repurposed drapery hooks for hanging the chalkboards and frames. My booth is unlike any of the others. I believe there are 4 booths selling hair bows. One booth has some really nice quilts, another has candy bouquets.
The lady that runs the place, her name is Kathy, is very nice. She sells handpainted blue jeans. I will be blogging more about my booth and the shop after I get settled in.
