While I was visiting Jamie last week she surprised me with this painting for my birthday! She actually painted it in late 2010 but decided to save it and give it to me for my birthday! I LOVE it! I think she did a great job.
I picked up this tray last fall at Goodwill for $4.00. It is very tarnished.
I was lucky that it came with these really nice glass dishes.
I love the shininess of the glass!
I plan to use this at Jamie’s bridal shower.
You can sort of see that the pattern on the tray still shows through the paint.
After the shower, this tray will find itself in Jamie’s former room, which I suppose should be called the “guest” room. I intend to redo her room sometime this spring. Isn’t it amazing how different it looks?
I’m out and about today celebrating with friends! I love birthdays!
