I actually made this in November of 2010, so after 10 years, I&#039;m not about to change it.   ;)

You could use a wider board in place of the narrow bottom trim I used. If you&#039;re okay with the island being counter height, you probably wouldn&#039;t need to add legs. However, I wanted mine higher so I could do crafts and such on it. It has been used for soooo many craft projects over the years, and being high is a real back saver.

I&#039;ve painted it again, as seen in the last image in this post.
