When I opened my booth a couple of weeks ago, I moved in very quickly. While Jamie was here last week, I asked her if she thought I should paint it and she said yes. She recommended gray. I intended to follow her advice, but as I went to paint it, I had some other changes in mind.
My thoughts were to try to recreate colors that people may have in their homes. So they could see how my items may look in their rooms. Here you have the brown from my living room. The gray is the same as my DIY Kitchen Island.
This green is the paint I used on Jan’s Door/nightstand.
There still isn’t a lot of traffic at the store. It’s been open for three weeks today. The road is well traveled, but everyone is in such a hurry. Today, someone stopped in to get some pie. This place was “The Pie Pantry”, but it closed in December. That’s how little people pay attention to the stores as they speed by the on this 4 lane highway.
I hope you are having a great holiday weekend. To my Canadian friends, Happy Canada Day weekend. Remember I have a little something special (silly) for Monday’s post. So, if you’re too busy with bar-b-q’s and fireworks, check it out Tuesday when you get back to work.
I appreciate you reading my blog in your reader and/or via email.
