In the weeks leading up to Glendale, I worked making a few new signs to take. I didn’t really take any “in progress” pictures. As always, I used my Silhouette SD to make these signs.
Version 1 (sold)
version 2 (left) version 3 (right) both sold
This is pink vinyl. (sold)
I used the negative part of the vinyl to paint this sign. More bang for your buck. Two signs for the price of one vinyl piece. (sold)
Same with this sign. This is the vinyl version.
This is the painted version. (I love the addition of the birds) sold
This sign and the next one are both vinyl applications.
sold
The only one of these signs that didn’t sell was the “It’s Never Too Late” (vinyl version)
I think both of these sold. I remember selling Love You More! but I can’t remember if Goodnight Moon sold or not.
Didn’t sell
Oddly enough, this sign didn’t sell. I have sold each and every one that I’ve put in my booth.
Didn’t sell.
Sold! Painted Bienvenue, but the Fleur-de-lis are vinyl.
One of my favs! It’s real similar to my original Family Rules Sign. People loved it and pointed it out, but it didn’t sell.
So there you have them. My latest signs. Do you have a favorite?

Hi Gail! I love how you make your signs, I’ve gotta put my big girl panties out and just try this machine. One of your signs has the saying that’s on my “signs to make” list – “What if you woke up tomorrow…” Maybe I’ll try designing that one first as I can put in on a smaller piece. Seems like everything I want to make is big and I don’t want to do a ton of piecing.
Thanx so much for all your help today!! You rock!!!

Catching up on my blog reading (still not being regular on my blog posting!), but I have to say I love that you made the “You are my sunshine” signs…I used to sing that to my middle child at bedtime…seeing it on your blog made me smile in remembrance. As for a favorite, they were all fabulous, but I’m feeling romantic tonight, so, the Forever, For Always, strikes me at this moment.
I like “It’s never too late…” best. A large reason being I’m agnostic, so I’m unlikely to put any religious signs in my house and a lot of the other signs were religious.
Glad you had a successful show! 🙂

They’re all great! I really like the sunshine ones, though.
Congrats on such a successful sale Gail! Looks like your signs were a big hit. I’m surprised the big chalk board didn’t go. I need to find something to make a big one and bring it to my sister’s for Thanksgiving dinner!
They all are so uplifting, I am sure they will sell quick! Thanks for sharing.
my favorite is the ‘forever, for always, no matter what’!! it’s in scriptina font, isn’t it?
Love the You Are My Sunshine and the Happily Ever After. Adorable!
I love all your signs. Probably “love you more” would be a favorite for personal reasons, but I also like “Beinvenue” because I like everything French.
My favorite is the “forever for always no matter what”.
I’m glad you did well with the signs.
I like the two rules-esque signs – I love the God’s top 10 for a child’s room, but since my child is 16 I think the family rules one is best for a house without young kids (the ‘obey your parents’ thing… heh). I love the white text on black, and I really love the different fonts on the same sign.
What are the backgrounds, are they plain wood, plaques, that sort of thing?
I love the family rules and the happily ever after with the black background. Gods top ten is great, but red doesn’t go anywhere in my house, maybe that was the issue?
Greetings from across the border,
Sue
