OH thank you soooo much for the tip on how to get the wine bottle label’s off. I’m assuming this would work for any label-yes? I have a project for wine bottles that turns them into torches. There is copper piping and copper clamps involved. a wick and lamp oil. They get mounted to the back side of a house facing a deck or on grape arbor poles where a table and chairs are set up for an alfresco dinner. They throw a lot of lite,last along time, and if bugs are a problem, just fill the bottles with citronella liquid. Green wine bottles are my favorite to use. I think they look the nicest with the copper, especially after a patina starts.

I love these bottles and can see how much easier it is using the Finish max. I have been painting bowling balls as bugs by hand and it takes so many coats of paint to color the black balls. I spray them with primer before painting. Last winter I had to use my downstairs shower as a paint booth to do the primer. I hung plastic but some still leaked through. Probably won’t do that again!

I currently paint everything by hand, but have wondered how much easier it would be to paint several small lamps and assorted small items like frames or keepsake boxes in batches.

Love this glass tutorial. I want to re-do my mother’s antique cedar chest. It was originally blond wood. 20 years ago I tried re-staining and it has always looked awful. I want to try chalk paint and some decopage to make it something my mother would be proud of.

Wow…these are awesome! I think I would take all of my “old” knick knacks and paint them. I do have a pair of owls that was given to me by my husbands grandmother and I know that they are very old but, do not go with anything. …That would probably be my first project…..I love grandma dearly!

Those bottles turned out so pretty Gail, and of course I love the one with the rose graphic. I still haven’t done a project with it, but I’m glad to see you have! I’d love to have a Finish Max paint sprayer – what a time-saver it would be.
