When you lay the pins on plastic to dry, do they stick to the plastic?

Hi, I love your wreath! A while back I needed to paint some clothespins but I was having a hard time painting them without making a mess or having streaks in them. My solution was to make homemade alcohol ink and drop them in a plastic jug for a few hours then took them out to dry. It worked like a charm! After I was done making my wreath I sprayed it with a clear coat. My friend loved it and the colors didn’t fade!
