Last week I called my friend Cathy and asked her out to lunch. I had a BOGO (buy one get one free) from Logan’s Roadhouse and I hadn’t been out of the house in days because we’d had some snow, sleet, rain and I didn’t have anywhere in particular to go. So we had a bite to eat, and went to a nearby peddler’s type mall to do some thrifting.
I didn’t buy everything pictured below—can you figure out what I did get? How well do you know me? I’ll give you a hint. I bought five of the following items:
I thought this coffee pot was too sweet. I had one once that I made into a coffee pot lamp.
You see all sorts of fun things at these type of junk malls.
This little gem is priced right!
Fun stuff here, did I get the stand? the beaded necklace? the cute little Santa?
If you’ve been around for awhile, you may remember Joey’s booth was always my favorite at the Peddler’s Mall that closed a couple of years ago. His booth is always #396, (no matter what store he’s in) and his prices are really good. He has a booth at this store and I was happy to find it.
Check out these chairs. This one was called a king’s chair, while the one below they called a queen’s chair.
I’m really not sure where one would put them?
I liked the look of this faux pocket watch clock.
If you were around during one of our monthly Bunco parties, you’d be surprised at the topic of conversations.
Fun vintage glassware.
One booth had this FaceBook sign, but I didn’t see anything that said what their page is.
Have you figured it out? I’m guessing you all know me well enough to know just what I brought home with me. scroll down if you want to see if you were right
are you ready?
have you made your guess?
what did Cathy buy? A small twix tin to fill with candy for her grandson
last chance to make a guess. . . .
coffee pot, red ornament, mirror, clock (Christmas gift) and the apothecary jar.
