I hope that everyone had a very safe and happy Christmas. I am truly blessed to have a daughter that likes to spoil me as much as I spoiled her when she was little! She gave me some really nice gifts, some of which were great books (trash to treasure) I hope to be inspired by all the wonderful projects highlighted in those books! I also got some of my favorite clothes (Indianapolis Colts shirts) Last but not least, I was the recipient of a new compound miter saw! Too bad it’s too cold right now to work on anything outside. I will have to work on smaller projects indoors for now. It was great to have Jamie home, we had some great mother/daughter sewing and crafting bonding time. She is back in Nashville safe and sound, and I miss her already. Now on with business….
….I Picked up a couple of things before Christmas. There are several things I can’t pass up….
Nice, cheap picture frames are one of my weaknesses.
I love the detail on this one.
I’m really not sure what I will do with this frame. For now, I’ve stored it in the “frame” dept of my inventory.
Windows are another favorite of mine. I would prefer to get them free on the curb, but things haven’t been very plentiful lately. This one was at my favorite Peddler’s mall for $4.00. It was in very good shape, in fact there were 2 of them, but I didn’t feel like I should buy them both. When I go back, if it’s there, I’m sure I will get it.
I’m sure I will make one of my cabinets using this window for the door.
