I didn’t really go shopping for stuff much last month, stuff just sort of found me.
While cleaning out a vacant house I rescued these random drop off pieces of 2×4’s. I’ve put them in a milk crate and they’re waiting for their new purpose in the basement shop.
There were two plain closet doors in the same shed.
I gathered several pieces of random pieces of bead board sections.
I parted out this table and kept the legs. I can never have too many legs. If nothing else they will make great front legs for a headboard bench.
I liked the front pieces of this desk. I kept the front drawer piece, and the faux columns on the front of the desk legs. The desk was particle board- not worth keeping.
Last of the free stuff was this awesome chest of drawers. I love it’s chippy goodness!
Earlier in the month while working on my booth at Vendors’ Village I found these items at Joey’s booth . . .
These small metal plates were a buck each. The paper labels will be easy to remove.
I got a great deal on these wooden shelf brackets. They had a lot, wondering if I should have bought more for just a dollar each. I have to use restraint when I come across a good deal. I usually buy more than I should, but not as much as I want.
I didn’t need this cheese dome, but again, for a dollar I just couldn’t help myself.
Do you have any ideas for these great finds? Y’all always have the best suggestions. Have you found anything good lately?

I would use the cheese dome to put something special under it and display it in my home somewhere. I have placed two small vintage dice ashtrays under one of mine. No matter what you choose to put under it, its value would be elevated!
love all your finds. can’t wait to see what you do with them.
The cheese dome, I’d put it on a pedestal and make tiny scene for seasons or holidays in it. But, you could also put a big muffin in it. The plates….. maybe some paint and mirror in the middle. ????????♀️

You always have the BEST ideas! I like the mirror idea-I think they even sell those at the dollar store.
thanks!
