I love free stuff! I was the recipient of free stuff recently. Some from family (gotta love cousins) and some from friends of friends.
Cousin Terry dropped off this desk a few days ago. Her dad had curbed it years ago, and now her mom is selling the house and clearing out some stuff.
It has some bad places on it.
I work the store (Unique Creations) where my booth is. I volunteer there one day a week. I really nice lady came in and we started talking. She is moving, and is also clearing out some things. I was the lucky to get this headboard. It is really heavy, what do you see? Bench? Chalkboard?
A friend’s neighbor is removing their privacy fence, one board at a time. This is the second haul I’ve gotten from them. Look at all that pretty weathered wood!
Another cousin (Lois) gave me this great Christmas tree. Y’all gotta use FaceBook to your advantage. If you’re looking for something, put it out there. I asked for a Christmas tree, and I got one. Thank you Lois!
I was at The Home Depot the other day and found this great deal on some black oops! It’s exterior, and it’s flat, but that’s okay because it’s BLACK!
I have so many great items to work with. I need cooler weather. Tonight I get an MRI on my shoulder. Hopefully I’ll be able to knock out some great projects soon. Mostly I’ll be busy trying to get things ready for Glendale in October. It’s the only craft show I do.
I appreciate you reading my blog in your reader and/or via email.
