Cathy and I went thrifting last week. I got a few bargains. Small and medium pictures were half off. These had been marked $1.01 each, so I got two for $1.01.
This had been marked $2.02. Half off, $1.01.
I had picked up the two diamond shaped frames when Cathy noticed that the 8×10 frame matched perfectly. Isn’t that strange? I don’t think they went together as a set. All three had the original paper on the back.
I got this baggie of hardware for $6.06. It was a very unusual find for this thrift store. I’ve never seen anything like this there before. I actually passed it up because I was eyeing some lamps. Cathy has a keen eye though and she pointed this out to me.
These handles were inside the baggie.
These two loners were also enclosed.
Look at all those hinges!
More handles. If you’ve bought hardware lately you know that a handle can run you upwards of $4.00 each.
There were four of these. Remember I needed some knobs for this . . .
You can see the before here.
My sister dropped off this cute twin bed.
She even threw in some slats.
I’m mostly finished with the bedroom. I am sure I’ll tweak it some before I really decide what I want. I will start posting about it Tuesday. It’s still too hot to do anything outside, so I’m not sure how many projects I’ll get done this week. I hope it’s cool where you are.
