If you’ve been collecting junk stuff for very long, then you probably know how eager people are to dump their stuff on you. Sometimes it’s not so good, then other times it is. I generally say “yes”, knowing that if I don’t want it, I’ll just set it to the curb for the next junker.
These first two pieces were dropped off to me. They had been at the curb with a FREE sign on them. Although I like this table, it is in need of some TLC.
I like the legs.
I haven’t had a cabinet like this before. It’s fun to have something different!
Although it too has some issues. I believe both of these pieces had been at the curb for quite awhile.
I think it has potential, don’t you?
I “found” this little table in the room off the kitchen when I was clearing out some stuff. It had been used as a tv table for the last several years.
It use to belong to my cousin, I’m not sure exactly, but I think I may have bought it at her yard sale when she moved. (do you remember cuz?)
This is an ammo box I’ve had for awhile, but I recently “found” it in the shed.
I think this is a really cool piece!
Do you have any suggestions for any of these gems?
I haven’t been thrifting in so long. It doesn’t look like I’ll be going anytime soon, since I leave tomorrow for Haven. I’m stopping in Nashville to see Andy & Jamie (and Lucy). I’ll spend the night with them, then head to Atlanta on Wednesday.
Other than the fact that Catch as Catch Can won’t happen Thursday night, you won’t really even notice I’m gone! 🙂
