Over the holiday weekend, Jamie’s dad and I met Jamie and Andy in Bowling Green to celebrate Jamie’s 29th birthday. We went to the last day of an estate sale. Everything was 50% off. Jamie and Andy both picked up a few items. I didn’t buy anything, but I snapped a couple of pictures.
These chairs would have made great garden chairs, they were $2.50 each. Oh my gosh! Do you see those round discs? Wouldn’t they make awesome faux clocks? I did NOT even see them. How crazy is that! I just now noticed them as I was looking at this picture.
After we went to the Estate Sale we had some lunch at Steak-n-Shake, and then went to Flealand. Jamie is carrying Andy’s loot. That box Andy is holding? It’s full of Jamie’s stuff. Jamie is about to open a booth in Nashville at the Tennessee Antique Mall. Jamie’s really excited about it. It’s times like this I wish I lived closer so I could help!
Look at all that fabulous junk! Most of these items don’t even have prices on them.
I went to a local “mall”. It’s not a peddler’s mall. It has nicer stuff which is probably why I don’t like going there. I like to look for junk, not antiques. I found this globe for Jamie. I got a great deal on it!
I also found this little clock for her. She saw one at the Flealand but it didn’t have it’s wind-up key.
My nephew Bubba and his fiancé Anna picked up this hutch for a space in their kitchen. After they get married in July, Anna will need more room to put all of her small appliances. She cooks a LOT! This hutch came home with me so that I can paint it for them.
If you are interested in joining MeganDVD @ Beauty in the Attempt and me for our Mint Julep June Jaunt, there are 8 spaces left for our “first 25”.
