Welcome to this month’s recent finds where I will be showing you the great bargains I got last month! I love thrift shopping, but what’s even more fun is when I get messages from friends about FREE stuff!
I was so excited when I brought this headboard home that I got started on a cute headboard bench project right away. I took it to Glendale 2016 but it didn’t make it off the truck early enough to sell. I will share the easy details of the project early next month.
I used one of these shutters to make a Farmer's Market hanging produce bin that sold pretty quickly at Glendale.
I may have buyer’s remorse on this little lady. I took her apart a little and did a coat of diy chalky paint primer and she’s still looking a little rough—stay tuned.
I got a good deal on this set of legs, what do you think happened to that one leg? Maybe a dog got hold of it?
I used this big ole board to make some stools like this easy small step stool, taking a bunch to Glendale but only selling a couple of them. Now they are in the booth at Vendors’ Village.
A friend (thanks Shirley) tagged me on facebook about this table and chairs. Would you believe then ended up being right around the corner from me?
It’s an oval table and five chairs, in good condition. The table top was pretty much ruined, but I’ll be painting it.
Last, but not least, this pair of Queen Anne tables for $5 each.
All in all, it was a great month for finding super deals! Are you regularly “on the hunt”? If so, what have you found?
