Do you know about Reloved Magazine? A few months ago they contacted me about a feature! I was giddy. I sent in the pics and then put it out of my mind because these things can take a while.
When I got home from Haven I had a white envelope waiting for me with the magazine in it. I couldn’t wait to tear into it to see my feature.
Here I am on page 36 of the Reloved August issue. They featured my DIY Candlestick Birdbath!
Page 37 It’s difficult to explain how happy it makes me. Seeing a project in a magazine is so much fun, and the best part is…I still have this birdbath sitting in the same spot after all these years. It makes me smile every time I walk past it.
I honestly have been so busy that I haven’t sat down to read the magazine from cover to cover yet. But my friend Sarah from Sadie Seasongoods messaged me on Facebook that she was featured too.
I love her Embroidered Vintage Linens on page 72
Sarah was lucky enough to have two projects in the August issue. Her sweet Vintage Doily Table Runner is on page 44
A lot has been happening lately. You know I went to Haven. It is so much fun to hang out with other bloggers. As a group, we are very open, honest and sharing with each other. I shared my thoughts in a session (about Facebook) and I learned a lot in the sessions I attended.
It was fun to hang out with my friends from Homeright. I truly am so happy to be one of their brand ambassadors. They have some great products in the works. I’ll be sharing them with you in the upcoming months. Click their link (above) to see who won the latest Ikea Challenge. (hint-it wasn’t me)
A week after I got back from Haven, I headed to Pigeon Forge with Cousin Terry and Marybeth. We traveled in Terry’s RV and had a great time hanging out. Playtime is over, and now it’s time to get back to work on some projects.
Speaking of projects—are there any particular projects you would like to see me tackle? Is there a recent find you’re curious about? Something that I should move to the top of my list?
I would love to hear your thoughts.
