Don’t know if you will see this, as it is now August, 2012… but, I have two headboards just like yours and was so stumped what to do with them! Now I know! Thank you for the fabulous idea!! Also, for your other one, maybe do it in another color and use the same hooks as you used on the bottom for the top and hang old wooden clothes hangers on them to hold pictures. I love this repurpose, the hooks on the bottom are just perfect! This would make a perfect inspiration board in my craft room 😉 those clips could hold fabric swatches too….oh the possibilities.
