My husband will come help me set up and take down as I am not comfortable doing that YET! I love the more than 1 chair idea. I also have a 94# dog and a 67# dog and I leave out a huge dog bed and water dish so people know I have big dogs. And I will be packing my mace this time.

Great tip about the chair facing that direction Steve. However, someone could easily come up from another direction, especially if their intentions are not good. I’m sure you’ve seen just about everything since 1980. I’ve only been camping a few years, and I’m learning a lot! I appreciate your tips.

Having camped since 1980, I would say the 80:20 rule applies. That is, 80% of the people you encounter are shady in some way. You may not like the view through such a murky lens, but you will be safer for it.
