Gail I think it’s base boards, or some call them mop boards. One house we had we needed to clean up after a flood the night before we moved in 30 years ago. My husband’s boss had just had a gorgeous house built. He came to the rescue with all the extra base board and some dry wall that was left. It was so kind.

I really like this! I don’t have any molding like this but I see pieces like this often at my local ReStore. Nice job!
