Silhouette has rolled out another great product, a Stamping Kit! You can now use your Silhouette to make custom stamps for your projects and scrapbooks.
Here’s a little information on the new stamping starter kit.
I was so anxious to get my hands on this new idea!
I worked on designing some logos in the design software. I got the letters to hook together using the weld function.
I laid out my design in the software. You can see that I have chosen Stamp Material as the media, and that automatically sets the speed to 1 and the thickness to 18.
The stamping kit comes with it’s own mat.
You can see that the stamping material is cut. I peeled the material off the mat, and sort of punched out and separated my new stamps.
Here is the new MRL stamp!
I inked up my new stamp and placed it onto a shipping tag.
The stamping material magically clings to the acrylic blog. I saved the backing that the stamping material came on to store my new stamp on.
Have you ever watched Jen on the Silhouette YouTube channel? Her videos are so informative. I’ve learned a lot by watching her. Go ahead, and take a few minutes to watch Jen… I’ll wait till you’re done.
Isn’t it awesome? It really is so easy. Just like Jen said, the stamping material is quite sturdy.
The only thing I did different than Jen was instead of laying the stamping material onto the blog, I found it easier to lay the material down, then place the block on top.
After I had this little border in place on the block, I then placed the block onto the MRL. Being see-through with the grid lines, it makes lining up your stamps very easy.
