My Uncle Roscoe passed away in May. If you are a regular reader, you will know that I made him this garden chair in the Spring. After the funeral, my family made sure that I got a rose. I dried the rose, and I needed a place to keep it. Recently I curbed some old bed springs. I took them apart, and have been looking for ways to use them (72). While I was staging some pictures, I happened upon this idea. I had spray painted some of the springs, this one happened to be black. I grabbed a page from an old book, and coiled it into the spring. I really like the way it displays this rose. We all miss Roscoe very much. He was a very loving and funny man!
