Hi! I was happy to read your post about the small drop leaf table. I have acquired this same table from my mother-in- law who is no longer with us. My husband at one time refinished it and we have had it in our possession now for 30 some odd years. I finally decided to do something special with it. So ….i painted it with a very good chalk paint. I have to say i absolutely love it now! It is actually an Ethan Allen Table. My husband really loves it too.

It is now a very light gray top with a coffee bean bottom and i painted a beautiful flower on the top to match the bottom.

I just did one in white that’s rectangular in shape. I use it for quilting and sewing, in my teeny tiny art room. (Downsizing woe) It can pull out away from the wall all the way or just one side.
