Last week I told you about the Vendor’s Village thrift store. Today I’ll tell you about the last two stores on our trip. They are in the same shopping center as the Vendor’s Village, and they are truly only for the real junker. If you are looking for a bargain, and don’t mind the clutter, these places are for you.
Look at those pieces in the front, they are just like the ones I made my red kid’s banquette out of.
These plastic dresser mirrors were not priced, and the sign in the store said everything is negotiable, so when the guy said $10 each or 2/15….. I said would you do $12 for both of them. He said yes! I was a happy camper. I will buy these any day of the week. Did you see what I did with them last year? I left two of them mirrors, and changed one into a chalkboard. They were the first things to go at Glendale.
This store appears to be small, and I almost missed the “furniture” room. I didn’t buy anything here, but I wanted to.
This day of thrifting is going to be full of fun and great bargains! Not to mention the swag!!! Tons of swag AND door prizes!
I’ve been gathering everything together, and stuffing these great bags from hometalk.
There may even be more surprise door prizes. I’m still working on it.
ps I am moving to WordPress! Kristi from Addicted to Decorating is making the switch for me. It may take anywhere from 24-48 hours. The blog will be down later tonight, until the switch takes place. Keep your fingers crossed that all goes well. 🙂
