Wow, what a fun and quick trip to Nashville this past weekend to do a craft show, Making Merry in Berry Hill. Jamie and I arrived around 8 am Saturday morning and got busy unloading and setting up.
Jamie had some vintage Christmas items. I heard her say a couple of time to young people as they passed by: “Celebrate Christmas like your Grandma”. That is because everyone would say….”ohhhhhhh my grandma had one of these”.
Sold: Large artwork chalkboard, headboard (joy) chalkboard, {heart} chalkboard, blue tall chalkboard, ammo box coffee table.
Close-up sold: bedpost chalkboard, large chalkboard on the left.
Sold: Black mirror
sold: chalkboard printable, and a couple of the small rustic chalkboards
Sold: shutters, black wooden “bowl”.
sold: whole heart, gray mirror, top stool. Not sold, 4×4 pedestal in front.
sold: Mom’s Bar & Grill, You are My Sunshine, Be Happy, What IF
Sold: goodnight moon
Sold: Coffee Bar
Not sold, ANY of the shutter magazine holders. I’ve always sold them at Glendale. Also not sold, not a single rustic crate. I think they are so cute!
It was a cool day to start off, well, really more like cold. … 37. It warmed to about 50 with a little sunshine later in the day. It was a good crowd, but nothing like the amount of people that come out to Glendale, but surprisingly, I did about the same as I do at Glendale. It was a lot of fun to see Jamie and Andy, and setting up with Jamie was a real treat. I have no idea why I didn’t take any pictures of her vintage Christmas booth.
I ended up bringing home 3 stools, small chicken wire cabinet, both wooden pedestals, the faux garden gate, several chalkboards, both windows, all the rustic crates, and all the shutters.
I’ll store some, donate some, and list some on Craig’s List to make room for more projects!

I’m so glad you had a successful show, Gail!
Glad you found an opportunity to sell some of the items you were planning to take to Glendale. And spend time with Jamie to boot!
I still cannot believe that your little rustic crates do not sell. Just curious…do you “stage” them at all? Mine were a little different, but I did quite well with mine last year (didn’t do any sales this year) 🙁 Even if you didn’t do arrangements…maybe just some pine cones or greenery with a candle, a bunch of ornaments….something simple! I think that sometimes people just need a few ideas, THEN they can come up with some on their own.
I LOVE your handle boxes!
So happy you had a good day! Always good to clear out the old so you have some room to enjoy making the new 😉
Looks like fun, Gail! It ended up being too windy for us to venture out (the youngest is getting over croup). Wish I could have seen you!
Are you not able to sell some of this in your etsy?
I bet if you ran a few of them…the chalkboards or crates…they’d sell don’t you think?
It looks like you did pretty well with this sell. I’m glad you were able to go and so glad you got to see Jamie and Andy.
I have a feeling Jamie wouldn’t let you do this show alone anyway. 😉 She is looking our for her Momma!

I wish i could have made it there. I really love your rustic crates with handles (looks like toolbox), and the little stools…maybe have to find you on Craig’s list and see what you post!
Well that sucks on the Not Sold list–but, alas, it happens. :’ (
Glad it went well otherwise and was a nice day with Jamie!
REST now, my friend–
Catherine
It was so great meeting you this weekend! I can’t wait to use our chalkboard at the wedding, and you will definitely hear from me for future purchases 🙂
It was fun to meet you all on Saturday!
Wishing you all the best as you plan your big day!

Looks like it was a great day, and so neat you got to go with Jamie! I would have been drooling at your booth if I had been there! I still think people are crazy for not buying the rustic crates!
Looks like a good day to me. Nice to do it with Jamie, does she have any photos of her stuff?
Sounds like a successful weekend to me! Your can never really predict what will be popular from one sale to the next, but that’s part of the fun. So glad you got to team up with Jamie!
Glad to see you “back in action”! I’m surprised you didn’t sell the crates…they’re so versatile!
Glad you had a successful weekend and got to spend time with Jamie!
I love all the items you took and I’m amazed at the items you didn’t sell…those would have been the things I would have been drawn to. I’m glad it was successful and you had a good time with Jamie!
glad it was a success for you and you got to be with family- bonus!
Awwww it all looks lovely!!! don’t worry about the sale! it happens some times! 🙂 thing is you are blessed with creativity! I can feel it you will pull it off next time!!!! 🙂 now smile please!!! 🙂
