While putting down the new laminate flooring, the wall to wall closet in the master bedroom was removed. The triple mirror by-pass doors were removed and that meant a new closet enclosure was needed. The area was framed with 2x4's and a header was made with plywood. Bi-fold doors were turned into french doors. I love, love, love my new closet.

This month's Power Tool Challenge was to make a sign. I've made a lot of signs, so I thought it would be fun to make a pumpkin sign greeting Fall with the words "hello Fall". The rustic pumpkin is made out of pallet boards. I love the way it turned out and I hope you do to. Maybe it will inspire you to make your own pumpkin sign. If not, maybe one of the other great signs will inspire you!

It's time for the Power Tool Challenge project for May. This month's theme is Pallets. I used pallet boards to make a table, but actually staged/styled it as a coffee station or coffee bar. It's sofa table height, and you could easily make it to be a kitchen island or outdoor serving station. The possibilities are endless with this type of pallet board table!

I've had this reclaimed armoire door book shelf on my to-do list for almost a year. I finally got around to building it. The two armoire doors were missing a couple of glass panels, so I had to make a decision on what to put in the empty space. Great tips on how to build your own bookcase out of old tall cabinet doors.
