While putting down the new laminate flooring, the wall to wall closet in the master bedroom was removed. The triple mirror by-pass doors were removed and that meant a new closet enclosure was needed. The area was framed with 2x4's and a header was made with plywood. Bi-fold doors were turned into french doors. I love, love, love my new closet.

There are fun details about a contest for my blogger friends going to Haven Conference and a giveaway for those of you who aren't a blogger going to Charleston later this month. I love my friends at Homeright!

This project is about the table base getting a new top to replace the damaged top that was on it when I picked it up at the thrift store. Don't throw out a damaged piece of furniture.

A new writing desk hutch made from a vintage sewing cabinet and a repurposed furniture drawer! There was some trial and error trying to find "just" the right drawer, and a few hiccups along the way, but in the end, I love how this turned out and I think the Naval color is perfect with the cubbies.
