When you say “with a top on it” I’m guessing you mean a hutch, or some kind of cubbies? A picture would be helpful if you’d like to email me.

I’m sure you could take the top off, and use it for something else. It sounds like it’s a really nice piece.

I had plan to do something with it and sell it. But my mind has been blank. It has sat in my guest room for at least 4 years and my husband has grown quite fond of it!! Have you ever repurposed a credenza with a top on it. It is huge. I know I can paint it with the chalk paint but am wondering if there is anything else I can do. Thank you Charlotte Smith

I took out a few drawers and replaced them with shelves.
then I sanded the drawer front, cabinet doors and top. I stained each of these complimentary tones and painted the case or box of the piece a linen white. I have to say it turned out awesome for $100.00.

I love this. It turned out fantastic. Love the hardware…with the rub and buff, too.
For some reason, I thought you weren’t keeping this piece…but I don’t know where i got that idea. Of course you’d keep it! Look at it. Perfect place for the tv and a perfect place for the Silhouette supplies!
