Let’s talk about beds, okay? I thought mine was okay, until I got an awesome night’s sleep in a hotel room when I traveled to Detroit recently. I realized after that night that I need to think about getting a new bed. I’ve had my bed for about 8 years, and I seem to remember that it had an 8 year warranty. Times have changed, and I think people spend more time in their beds. I know it may not be what experts advise, but I think most of us tend to do some surfing while we are winding down to go to sleep. I know the first thing I do when I wake up is to check my email. I can only imagine how nice it would be to have a Leggett & Platt adjustable base bed. Many of the bases have massage capabilities. I think my favorite option is the zero gravity position. I have had a chair like that for years, and I love it. Just so you know, the adjustable base bed, is just that, a base. It replaces a box spring, and works with most mattresses including foam and air.
There’s currently a Pinterest Contest with HGTV’s Emily Henderson. Leggett & Platt will be awarding one winner $1500 plus an adjustable bed base to transform their bedroom into a tranquil retreat. It’s fun to enter, simply create a pinterest board and pin your favorite of three adjustable base styles and at least 7 additional items to the board to create your dream space. Then go to Leggett & Platt on Facebook to enter your pinterest board. I chose Coastal Getaway. I would love to change up my bedroom, wouldn’t we all? You can check out my pinterest board Coastal Getaway by clicking that link..
A friend has been talking about getting an adjustable bed for months. I never thought I’d want one. But after looking at the options at Leggett & Platt, I see that they’re not just for the elderly or those with medical problems. I’m thinking that my shoulder might hurt less if I elevated my bed slightly so that I couldn’t sleep on my side.
So, what are you waiting for? Hop on over to Leggett & Platt and start working on YOUR pinterest board. When you enter, please let them know you heard about it here at My Repurposed Life. The contest ends on 10/15 but winners will be announced after 10/31 – good luck!
