Today I am featuring a project from a good friend of mine, Rose. I think Rose is very creative. I call on her whenever I’m stuck, and can’t get the creative juices flowing.
“I picked up a couple of really beat up old chairs curbside that the seats were gross and falling off of. When taking them off I saw that the seat frames were wood and thought hmmmm, that looks like it could be a frame or something……and I set them aside for later. ”
“Shortly afterward I was painting some chalkboards to use for my daughter Erin’s wedding and decided to make the chair seats into chalkboards. (I swear chalkboard paint is addictive, I painted everything in sight that day) A scrap piece of luan plywood cut to size, painted w/chalkboard paint and nailed to the back of the seat was so easy to do.”
Please be kind and leave Rose a comment below!
