Whenever I see something, I feel the need to try it, at least once. These are floor cloths, but they are not made out of canvas. They are made from scrap linoleum. You do nothing to the “right” side of the linoleum.
I rolled a a couple of coats of outdoor semi-gloss latex paint onto the “wrong” side of the linoleum. Then I taped off the inner boarder with painter’s tape. I painted it with a lighter shade of green. In the corners I used a tatouage rub on. voila! a floor cloth!
I did the same here, a couple of coats of the green latex paint. I then taped off the 3 diamond shapes and painted it a bright yellow. After the yellow paint dried really well, I did another tatouage rub on. After both floor cloths were very cured, I sealed them with a couple of coats of polyurethane.

Hi Gail, I hope this works, been trying to leave a comment and keep getting stymied by the profile question. I have no idea how to respond. I’m so unsavvy to blog stuff.
Anyway, love your new blog and i think its really cool that you put some of my pics in too. Thats so nice of you! I love seeing the projects we’ve talked about online over the last year being featured. And you’re so good at teaching how you did everything! This is definitely a great place to go to for reference. Keep up the good work.
Your proud pal,
Rose
