Easy Craft Show Signs
Because the booth as a lot of wall space to fill, I decided to make some more craft show signs. When I was in Nashville last year, I picked up several (10?) of these drawer fronts. They were new, so no holes to fill!
Drawer Fronts
Have I told you lately how much I love my kitchen island? It makes crafting so much easier!
Painting Craft Show Signs
Know what else I love? Purdy paint brushes! If you have never owned a Purdy, you are really missing out! I suppose I got busy painting and forgot to take pictures along the way. oops!
Home Sweet Home
Sign In Craft Booth
Three pictures of this sign, and the color is different on every one of them. I believe the picture of it hanging on my fence is the most true representation. I checked my design in the Silhouette program and I couldn’t figure out which fonts I used on this sign.

More Signs in the Booth
God Bless Our Home Sign
For this craft show sign I used the font “French Script”. I did this sign in the same style as the sign I put in my bedroom, Life Is Not Measured.
Here is the God Bless Our Home sign in the booth.
Do you see that large chalkboard tray? I sold it on Wednesday! My first sale. I was there when a young lady bought it. She asked me if I was going to be bringing in new items on a regular basis. She doesn’t KNOW me, eh? I was able to move things around and fill the empty space. I took a few more repurposed items in today. That is a great perk of the store being located so close to me.
If you make signs, or LOVE signs the way I do, would you please leave a comment below with what you think are some of the most popular sayings?

Woohoo, a sale. That is so awesome. Yeah, you should of taken a picture with her and put in in your booth like they do for the first $1 a person takes in. I saw (thanks to you!) a ton of sayings on pinterest LOL “pick your battles” is always a favorite of mine (came in handy when I was raising teenagers) but my favorite is the one I made for Shannon and Nate
You have my whole heart
for my whole life
Looks great on pallet type wood.
Have fun on your jaunt with the bloggers, so fun!
You are making good use out that silhouette! What about just Welcome in a pretty font. Love this one:
Start each day with a grateful heart.
Love all your signs ….its good that you found a shop to sell in…you should do good at this you can make anything… are you going to put your benches in it. Trish
Saw this quote the other day on a sign at HomeGoods, and thinking of how cute your signs always come out, I took a picture so I could maybe make one myself in a color that wasn’t as hideous as the acid green they’d chosen. So here’s what it said: “Butterflies can fly because they take themselves lightly!”
Looking at it again, maybe it’s a bit cheesy. But I thought it’d be perfect for a girl’s room.
I love signs:
Here are a few:
Be Still and Know That I am God.
We do not remember days, we remember moments.~
*Cesare Pavese*
“Once you choose hope, anything’s possible.”
―Christopher Reeve
Great signs! Congrats on your first sale! I have a list of sayings, but I don’t have them with me right now (at work). I’ll send you some later!

I’m cracking up at Mom’s Bar and Grill.
You should consider:
“Live in the sunshine, swim in the sea, drink the wild air” by Emerson
I know you don’t do a ton of Bible verses per se, but I love the simplicity of:
Be Joyful in Hope
Patient in Affliction
& Faithful in Prayer.
🙂
A couple of my favorites are:
Home is Where Your Story Begins
and
Theres No Place Like Home
and
Love is Spoken Here;Love Dwells Here
and
You are my Sunshine
and
“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
The Bible is full of inspiring verses to live by:)
Also chk Etsy & Hobby Lobby. They sell tons of signs(do you have one near you? I cant remember if you do or not).
xo,
Sarah
I think you should go get that coffee pot. It might still be there!
Your signs look great. I’m so excited for you~your own booth!
Hi! I’m soooo excited about Saturday. I can’t wait to meet everyone. Oh, and, I’ve always loved the saying, “I love you a bushel and a peck.”

Love the simplicity of the “home sweet home” plaque!
I love the color of your “Home Sweet Home” sign! And I’m not at all surprised your chalkboard tray sold first! Any tips for using contact paper for your stencil, or is it just the same?
As for sign suggestions…I like
Speak kind words; receive kind echoes
I can do hard things
Boucherie
The Potting Shed
I’m so glamorous I cry glitter
You are my sunshine!
(And eclectic mix for you!)
I love signs! And your signs are such an inspiration. I’m working on re-doing my place and am trying to find just the right piece of wood for my “Beach That Way” sign.
One of my favorite signs I have says “Dance as if no one is watching.” Another says “In life you can be anything you want to be. Be yourself”.
I love your signs! I especially like the ones you did before of the kid’s version of the ten commandments. Here are some quotes I thought of for you…
“Love makes this house a home.”
I also like the one word “Family” that you hang near pictures.
“Hugs and kisses are a treasure forever”
“Kisses are the jewels of love”
“A loving touch and a warm embrace are always welcome in this place”
I think we all love signs! There is no limit to expressing ourselves with favorite quotes or sayings.
Good for you Gail… you should have taken a pic of your new loyal customer… lol. Love the signs.
I was given a sign at Christmas and everyone that walks in my house loves it… I think it is on my blog… I will see if I can find it and email you.
“I Can At Grandma’s” you can also change it to “I Can At Nana’s” which I made for my sister after she saw mine, she loved it so much. You could also do them in the different languages. Just a thought. Laundry signs are also popular.
Hope that helps… have a great day.
Hugs, Deb
Great signs. You might think of making some signs that people can put in their gardesn. Like:
Garden of Weedin
Grow Dammit
Gail,
Me again…
Just went to the Silhouette site. Are the letters on your signs vinyl or do you use the program to cut a stencil and then paint the letters on?
Thanks!
Cheryl
I love signs and enjoy making them. I freehand mine so will have to check out Silhouette program. I love your chalkboard tray idea too…have a big tray I found at a yard sale and now I can’t wait to try this. I don’t have a booth…just craft for my own home and gifts. I like simple sayings like “Imagine”. There are lots of sites if you Google “short quotations” with lists of ideas for signs. I also go to the “wall words” sites for ideas. Love your blog and love your signs.
Hugs,
Cheryl
Very cute! I’m loving them! I have some quotes for ya :o)
Always kiss me goodnight
I love you to the moon & back
I love your signs! They are so cute and fun, and you make making them look so easy.
Some sayings I enjoy:
Live, Love, Laugh
All because two people fell in love
Cats make a house a home
Also, you make think of making some with the names of the hometowns around you. I saw this once, and was so disappointed they did not have my town. Had they, I would have bought it in an instance.
Good luck with your booth!
