what an awesome idea!! i can’t wait to make my own! hobby lobby is great for cheap aweseome frames that have a couple chips and go on clearance!
These would also be great as a medicine cabinet or something, built right into the wall… Great ideas Gail!
Oh this so reminds me of my grandma’s house, they are darling!
Now I think I have to try and make these, I have a bunch of old frames I can use.
By the way I love your blog and I’m now a follower, I would like to extend the same invitation to you to come be a follower on my little blog.
Thanks for sharing,
Terry
What a great idea! I can’t wait to see the tutorial!
Your framed shadowboxes are too cool! I’ve always loved, too, your shadowbox with the window/door front. I hope to copy you soon (but it won’t be the first time!) You rock!

Beautiful! I have been looking for a shadow box for years for a Christmas stocking that was knit for the Honey when he was a baby (which makes the stocking antique 🙂 I’m going to give it a go….
Thanks Gail!

I have always loved the shadow boxes made from frames… yours are gorgeous… love the detail on some of those frames. Great job.
Can’t wait for the tutorial, I am going to make one of those for sure.
Hugs, Deb
I love those. Reminds me of the old days when my aunt had a huge one and she had all her chotchkies in it.
Very nice.
Wow, those look amazing! I love pretty ornate frames like those! And I think the idea of creating them as shadow boxes is brilliant! I look forward to the tutorial! 🙂
Beautiful work!
