Turquoise Window Cabinet/Shelf

Little did I know when I made this window cabinet shelf (of course without a hubby) that I was using the new color of 2010! I had 4 of these windows:
Repurposed Window Cabinet 1, and Repurposed Cabinet with a Window 2
I had two windows left, one of which was very wonky! One of the panes of glass was broken. I know I could have cut a new piece of glass, but I was wanting to do something a little different.
This is my first time using mdf. I got the mdf out of the cull bin at home depot.I didn’t realize that it was so much thinner than the 1×4’s I usually use.I was afraid to try to use nails to attach my window to the mdf.
I used the Gorilla Glue to “glue” the window to the cabinet! I can’t believe how strong this stuff is. Since there will not be any weight bearing down on the window frame, I am very confident that it will hold forever!
I have sold this on Craig’s List. The lady that bought it was really happy with it. She told me they were updating their bathroom. I gave her some extra paint in case the cabinet ever needs a touch-up.

I like your cabinet.
I did a similar project with old windows from an old factory building. I documented it on my blog here at blogspot.

I would appreciate any suggestions, since I have two more old windows, which I would like to use.
